Wilma Hooper

Wilma R. Hooper, 88, of Paducah, passed away at 5:00 am on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis, IL.

Wilma was a member of The Lone Oak Church of Christ, she earned her Teaching Certificate from Carson-Newman University and she retired from Western Baptist Hospital.

She is survived by two daughters, Holly Pember and husband Tim, of Chesnee, SC, Ernestine Poth and husband, Scott of Pleasanton, TX; son, Steve Hooper of Paducah; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Hooper; her parents, Ernest Rollins, and Hattie Rollins; sister, Patricia Arnold; and her brother, Doug Rollins.

Funeral services for Wilma will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Ed Grogan and Mr. Paul Wingfield officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
