William Hawes

November 11, 1927 — June 29, 2007

Services for William L. Hawes, 79, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2007, at Melber Baptist Church, where he was a member and deacon. The Rev. Jeff Cruse will officiate, with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gaedens.
Mr, Hawes died at 6:55 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2007, at Western Baptist Hospital.
He was a retired employee of the McCracken County Fiscal Court and Modine Manufacturing Co. He also sevrd on several committees at Melber Baptist Church.
Surviving his wife of 59 years, Robbie Lovette Cullen Hawes; two sons, Boyce Hawes and wife Nancy and David Hawes and wife Marsha, all of Paducah; a brother, Paul Hawes and wife Willene of Paducah; two sister-in-law, Larue King of Lone Oak and Naomi Hawes of Paducah; two granchildren, Chad Hawes and wife Robin and Kyle Hawes, all of Paducah; a great-granddaughter, Anna Kate Hawes; and several niecec and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Hawes. His parents were William Tamadge and Sallie Edith Gray Hawes.
Pallbearers will be Greg Wilkerson, Greg Hayes, Jerry Hawes, Chad Hawes, Kyle Hawes and Mike O' Leary.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 Sunday, July 1, 2007, at the Lone Oak chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home, and after 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
