MAYFIELD - Wendell J. Reed, 83, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Graves County, died at 10:26 p.m. Friday at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville.
Mr. Reed was retired from Commercial Carriers Teamsters Local No. 327 in Nashville and a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are one son, Chadwick Reed of Dallas; three daughters, Donna Gail Tucker of Frankfort, Patricia Diane Parker of Stanford and Yvonne Marie Gribben of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were William A. and Omia Walker Reed.
A private graveside service will be held at Mayfield Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 1 until 3 p.m. Wednesday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield.
