KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Tyleen Elizabeth Cress Settle, age 97, of Knoxville passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
Tyleen was born in Calloway County, Kentucky. She was a member of Smithwood Baptist Church, where she led Girls Auxiliary, VBS and belonged to her beloved T.E.L. Sunday School Class. Tyleen was also a charter member of Harrill Heights Garden Club and a member of Fontinalis Club in Fountain City.
Preceded in death by husband, Milton Settle.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Kenneth Pack; grandson, Kevin Pack; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel, 6965 Old U.S. Hwy. 45 South, Paducah, KY 42003, for a 1 p.m. C.S.T. funeral service. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
