Robert Howard

Bobby Howard, 73, of Lone Oak died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 7:00 a.m. at his residence.

Bobby was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church, and a 1957 graduate of Lone Oak High School. He was a former member of Rolling Hills Country Club, and currently a member at Paxton Park. He continued with the business that his late father, H.W. Howard, began of repairing golf clubs. Bobby was a dedicated worker of crossword puzzles. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and retired pipefitter from the railroad.

Survivors include one daughter, Christy and husband Brian Green of Lone Oak; one son, Brian and wife Missy Howard of Bowling Green, Ky.; one brother, Fred and wife Terri Howard of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Casey Green, Caleb Howard, Connor Howard, Joe Howard and Jadyn Howard; one niece, Jennifer Howard; and several cousins.

Preceding in death were his parents, Harold Wendell (H.W.) and Madge Rebecca Hawks Howard.

Service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Revs. Brian Howard and Fred Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday, April 26, 2013, at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
