Robert Gilbert Sr

Robert Earl Gilbert Sr., 84, of Paducah died Wednesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he was a member of Local 184 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union and of the Lone Oak Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Tanya Lee Bradford, Cheryl Ann Allen and Rebecca Sue Gilbert, all of Paducah; one son, Robert Earl Gilbert Jr. of Paducah; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Rae Gorman Gilbert; a grandson; one sister; five brothers; and his stepfather, George W. Cornwell. His parents were William Finis Gilbert and Mattie Bell Clinard Gilbert Cornwell.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel. Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
