Mrs. Odelle Hughes Ivy, age 107, of Mayfield passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Mills Health & Rehab in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, a member of Coulture Clubhouse and a retired employee of the Merit Clothing Company.
Mrs. Ivy is survived by one son, Ronald R. Ivy of Mayfield, KY; two brothers, Thomas F. Hughes, Jr. of Columbus, OH and James Hughes of Katie, TX; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Aubrey Ivy, Sr.; one son, Tommy Ivy, Jr.; five brothers, George Martin Hughes, Albert Hughes, Charles Hughes, Alton Hughes and Herbert Hughes; three sisters, Lear Nell Alexander, Clara Ann Adams and Vera Mae Brodeur; and her parents, Thomas Franklin and Vera Maude Lockhart Hughes.
Funeral services for Mrs. Odelle Hughes Ivy will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the funeral home.
