Naomi Ruth Wright Augustus, 66, of Paducah, went home to be with the Lord at 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah, KY.
Mrs. Augustus was a member of Belknap Pentecostal Church in Belknap, IL. She retired from K-Mart after 28 years. At her retirement, she was manager of the jewelry department. She also volunteered for 3 years with Heart USA.
Mrs. Augustus is survived by 2 sons, William Edward "Lee" Augustus of Chandler, AZ., and Eric S. Augustus of Paducah; 2 grandsons, Dillion Augustus of Paducah and Brandon Augustus of Chandler, AZ.; a sister, Mary Wright Williamson of Fairfax, VA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Augustus; her parents, William Oble and Eralou Rushing Wright; and brother, Frank Wright.
Funeral services for Mrs. Augustus will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Kenneth Capps officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
