Mildred L. Hodges, 88, of Paducah, Ky., died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2010, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mildred was a longtime member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a Radiology Secretary at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mildred is survived by her children: one daughter, Debra Burhite and husband Roger of Detroit, Mich.; two sons, Jimmie Hodges and wife Brenda of Benton, Ky., and Ronnie Hodges and wife Mary Jane of Lone Oak, Ky.; one sister, Emogene Layton of Puyallup, Wash.; and two brothers, Donald Lee Fletcher and wife Barbara of Bardstown, Ky., and Charles Fletcher of Houston, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lynne Hodges; her parents, Carey Harrison and Clara Belle (McKinney) Fletcher; one sister, Leona Gibson; three brothers, Glen Fletcher, James Fletcher and Alvin Fletcher; and one great-grandson, Michael Hodges.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the charity of choice in memory of Mildred L. Hodges.
