Mary Seavers

Mary Catherine Seavers, age 86, of Mayfield, KY died at 2:30 PM Sunday, January 17, 2016 at her residence. Catherine was a homemaker and a member of the South 1st Street Baptist Church in Mayfield.

Survivors include her husband - Herman Seavers Jr. of Mayfield; son - Anthony (Debra) Seavers of Mayfield; sister - Willie Tyler of Mayfield; 2 brothers - Jerry McClain of Murray and Bobby Earl McClain of Hot Springs, AR; 2 grandchildren - Jacob (Teresa) Seavers of Mayfield and Amy (Corey) Seavers Elliott of Lowes; great grandchildren - Mykenzie Seavers, Avery Seavers, Morgan Elliott, Hannah Elliott, Emerson Elliott & Harper Elliott; great great-grandchild - Gunner Canter; 3 step-grandchildren - Aaron Ellegood, Shianna Madding & Brian Madding; and 6 step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents-Earl and Iva Sholar McClain a brother J.B. McClain and 2 sisters - Francis & Virgie McClain.

Funeral services for Catherine will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield. Rev. Wayne Rambo and Rev. Glen Holifield will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens. Friends are invited to call after 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
