Lottie Gore

June 12, 1918 — January 26, 2011

SPRING HILL, Tenn. - Lottie Frances Davison Gore, 92, of Spring Hill, formerly of Mayfield, Ky., died Wednesday at Grace Healthcare in Franklin.

Mrs. Gore was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was a self-employed seamstress and she designed a custom dress pattern for girls who wore scoliosis braces.

Mrs. Gore is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Vaughan of Spring Hill; a son, Allen Gore of Lakeland; a sister, Leah Morris of Hendersonville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gore; a sister; a brother; and an infant grandson. Her parents were Wiley "WJ" Davison Jr. and Ella Rebecca Leftwich Davison.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Byrn Funeral Home chapel in Mayfield, with the Rev. Dan Tilley officiating. Interment will follow in Mayfield Memory Gardens.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
