BOAZ, Ky. - Lonnie Jones, 90, of Boaz, KY died at 8:55 p.m. Sunday night at the home of his daughter.
Mr. Jones was a member of Wice Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge 283 at Folsomdale and retired from maintenance at Modine Manufacturing.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Starnes officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Masonic rites will be held.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Bell McNeil Jones, of 71 years; one daughter, Robbie Garnett (Bobby E.), Boaz, KY; four grandchildren, Bobby G. Garnett (Robin), Bardwell, KY; Kim Sublett (Kenneth), Boaz, KY; Doug Garnett (Lisa), Hickory, KY; Dacia Beard (Duane), Hickory, KY; eleven great-grandchildren, Adam Garnett (Jessica), Audrey Garnett, BeaLinda Lonsway (Daniel), Jami Vela (Julio), Danyiel, DeLara, Darlene and Deanna Beard, Lonnie Neal Garnett (Hope), Felicia and RaeAnn Garnett; four great-great grandchildren: Abigail and Joseph Lonsway; Kaidance Vela and Ellis Garnett.
Preceding in death were his parents: Simon M. and Bertie Jane Tidwell Jones and one stillborn infant great-grandson, Drew Beard.
