JW Brewington

Mr. J. W. Brewington, age 90, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Green Acres Healthcare of Mayfield, KY.
He was a member of Pryorsburg Baptist Church, a member of American Legion Post #26, a retired supervisor from Mayfield Electric and Water and an army veteran from WW II.
Mr. Brewington is survived by his daughter, Kim Brewington (Kelly) Hutchins of Mayfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Frances Legate Brewington; one sister, Sarah Garrigus; and his parents, Huey and Birdie Williams Brewington.
Funeral services for Mr. J. W. Brewington will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Byrn Funeral Home of Mayfield, KY. Rev. Marshall Ivey and Mykel Tidwell will officiate. Interment will follow in Mayfield Memory Gardens. Military graveside rites will be performed by American Legion Post #26.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Tibbs, Steve Legate, Tony Ellegood, Charles Williams, Rex Canter and Eddie Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Aubrey Prince and the Men's Sunday School Class from Pryorsburg Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the funeral home.
