MAYFIELD - Jason Smith, 42, of Mayfield, formerly of Paducah, died at 6:09 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
He was employed by Pilgrim's Pride in Mayfield.
He was an Air Force veteran and of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, John and Sue Smith of Paducah, and one sister, Johnna Brookshire of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda McNeill Smith.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
