Jerry Shipwash

Mr. Jerry Wayne Shipwash, age 68, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Villa Grove, CO.
He was of the Baptist faith, a retired millwright with the local union and a US Marine veteran.
Mr. Shipwash is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marsha Toon Shipwash; two sons, Chad Clark of Paducah, KY and Jason (Lupita) Shipwash of Pasadena, TX; one daughter, April (Lee) Jaffe of Atlanta, GA; one brother, David (Joy) Shipwash of Houston, TX; two sisters, Pat (Doug) Jones of Mayfield, KY and Barbara (Jim) Wallace of Benton, KY; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. and Ruby Jackson Shipwash; one brother, William L. Shipwash, Jr.; and one sister, Emma Jackson.
Graveside services for Mr. Jerry Wayne Shipwash will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Mayfield Memory Gardens. Rev. Brad Morris will officiate. Interment will follow.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
