Jean Thompson

Mrs. Jean Ellen Thompson, age 74, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her residence.

She was a member of Northside Church of Christ, a member of Tri-County Homemakers, #1 Graves County Eagle Softball fan and a homemaker.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Joe Thompson; one son, Tim Thompson of Lowes, KY; two daughters, Kim (Gary) Ellegood and Mona (Chris) Shoulta both of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Charles Brewer of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Lou Spangler and Lynn Delk both of Mayfield, KY; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Dean Wyatt and her parents, Raymond and Verdell Byars Brewer.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Ellen Thompson will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Chris Kemp and Tyler Wunderlich will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Cory Ellegood, Chris Boyett, Michael Thompson, Seth Ellegood, Joey Thompson and Jamie Thompson.

Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the funeral home
