Jasper Strickler

February 25, 1923 — June 27, 2013

Jasper W. Strickler, 90, of Hendersonville, Tenn., died at 12:55 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tenn.

He was an electrical operator with TVA. He was a veteran of World War II and a Boy Scout leader. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by one daughter, Donna Grief of Paducah; one son, Stephen Craig Strickler of Dayton, Tenn.; three sisters, Betty Applegate of Hendersonville, Earlene Haga of Kingsport, Tenn., and Marie Strickler of Campobello, S.C.; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. His parents were Robert Earl and Susie Moore Strickler.

Private services will be Monday, July 1, 2013, with the Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club, 1125 Oscar Cross Ave., Paducah, KY 42001.

Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is handling arrangements.
