July 28, 1929 — October 4, 2010

Funeral services for Iris Charlene Lasater Hall, 81, of the Boaz community will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Larry Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hall passed away at 7:27 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2010, at Medco Center of Paducah.

Born in Rutherford, Tennessee, Mrs. Hall retired after 37 years with South Central Bell as an operator. She was a 50-year member of Lone Oak Church of Christ, where she planned many trips and activities for the senior adults of the church. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lawton Eugene Hall; one daughter, Lisa Nixon and her husband, Rodger David Nixon, of Lone Oak; and one grandchild, Krista Shae Ramage and her husband, Drew Ramage, of Boaz. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Ross Ramage and Riley Ramage; one sister, Eva Lynn Moreland Clark of Fulton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her parents were Robert Lynn Lasater and Myrtle Melissa McCullar Lasater.

Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, October 6, 2010, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
