MAYFIELD, Ky. - Hilda Ruth Hixon, 92, of Houston, formerly of Mayfield, died Sunday at East Regional Medical Center in Houston.
Mrs. Hixon was a member of First Baptist Church of Mayfield and a retired employee of Curlee Clothing Co.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Alecia Smith of Mayfield and Jenny Corbitt of Nashville, Tenn.; three stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; four stepgreat-great-grandchildren; two nephews; four nieces; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; three great-great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hixon; two brothers; three sisters; and one stepgranddaughter. Her parents were Monroe and Pearl Hargrove Adams.
Services will be at noon Monday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield with Bob Spillman officiating. Burial will be at Mayfield Memory Gardens.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
