Herschel Creed Sr

Herschel Edward Creed Sr., 91, of Paducah died at 4:35 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
He was a member of Shepherds Chapel and retired from Ashland Oil Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, serving during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Martin Creed; two sons, Dan Creed of Elk River, Minn., and Herschel Edward Creed Jr. of Lexington; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Edward Creed; one daughter, Lonia Kay Creed; two sisters, and one brother. His parents were Edgar and Edna Kaler Creed.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June, 6, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dan Creed officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the funeral home.
