Gerald Graviett

August 18, 1944 — February 27, 2015

Mr. Gerald D. "Jerry" Graviett, age 70 of Mayfield, passed away at 1:00 A.M. Friday at his residence. He was an electrician with IBEW # 816, an Army veteran of the Vietnam war and of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by one daughter: Kim (Barry) Adair, Louisville, IL., one sister: Judy Carter, Mayfield, and 4 grandchildren: Barrett (Paige) Adair, Mayfield, KY., Chance Adair, Grand Forks, ND., Morgan Boyd, Bismarck, ND, and Brodie Adair, Louisville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents: Berthel and Dorothy Mullins Graviett, One sister: Peggy Shultz and two brothers: David Brent Graviett and Jerry Wayne Graviett. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. David Gossum officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be: David Boyd Carter, Chad Carter, Robbie Morris, Barrett Adair, Cody Edwards and Shane Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be: Brodie Adair, Chance Adair, Roger Schmitt, Caden Morris, Carter Morris, Jerry Neale, Randy Adams and Danny Carter. Interment will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Monday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 26.
