Fred Wilbert Elliott, 85, of Paducah died Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Maryland. Graveside services held Saturday May 11, 2013 at 12:00 noon.

Fred Wilbert Elliott, 85, of Abingdon, Md., formerly of Paducah, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Abingdon.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, retired from Air Products and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by one daughter, Suzann Powers of Paducah; one son, Barry Elliott of Abingdon; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jo Metheny Elliott; one sister, and two brothers. His parents were Fred and Mattie Mae Owen Elliott.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Ben Boone officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at the funeral home.
