MAYFIELD - Graveside services for Farrar A. Gargus, 101, of Mayfield will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mayfield Memory Gardens with Bobby Crittendon, Mike Tucker and Will McSweeney officiating.
Mrs. Gargus died at 4:58 p.m. Sunday at Mills Health & Rehab Center in Mayfield.
She was a member and former women's Bible class teacher and children's Sunday school teacher at Northside Church of Christ and was a 15-year member of the hospital auxiliary in Mayfield.
She is survived by two daughters, Norma Dill and Kay Lockhart, both of Mayfield; four grandchildren; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton E. Gargus; one brother; and two sisters. Her parents were Noah and Grace Stephenson Simpson.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
