She is survived by a brother, John D. Armstrong and wife, Elaine, of Paducah and a sister, Dorothy Walker of Macon, Ga. She leaves behind two granddaughters, Carey J. Millican and Bethany Schneider and husband, Mark, and great-grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia, and Wyatt Schneider. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, all who held "Aunt Evelyn" in high esteem; and her little dog, "Millie."

Mrs. Millican was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robroy Millican, and her parents, John D. and Blanche Massey Armstrong.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Floyd Wayne Carter officiating. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to The American Red Cross, 232 N. 8th St., Paducah, KY 42001, or to The Haven for Dogs, P.O. Box 22505, Lexington, KY 40522-2505.
