95, passed away Wednesday July 13, 2016.
She was born in Murray, Ky., to the late George Cain and Gertrude Holland.
Evelyn received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Murray State University. She was a former teacher and librarian for Mayfield High School.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Kesterson.
She is survived by her son, Dan (Ann) Kesterson; and her daughter Jean Ann (Jack) Hawkins; two grandchildren, David Hawkins and Elizabeth (Trey) Boatwright; four great grand-children Molly, Macey, and Max Boatwright, and Brianne Werner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 11:00 - 1:30 at Byrn Funeral Home, Mayfield, KY. Funeral services will be held graveside at 2:00 at Mayfield Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, or to teamsupermax (http://gofundme.com/teamsupermax).
