Mr. Odene Coursey, age 93 of Mayfield, Ky passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 8:45 PM at his residence.
He was a member of the Seven Oaks Church of Christ and he formerly served as a Deacon when it was the 7th & College Church of Christ, he was retired from the Wholesale Grocery Business, and he was a World War II Navy Veteran.
Mr. Coursey is survived by his wife of 67 years- Helen Louise Cleaver Coursey of Mayfield, Ky; daughter- Joyce Dean Coursey of Mayfield, Ky; son- Dale Edward Coursey of Troy, Tn; brother- Robert Gerald Coursey of Memphis, Tn; one grandson- Jeremy Dale Coursey of San Jose, Ca.
He was preceded in death by his sister- Jennie Osborne.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Mayfield Memory Gardens with Don Sparks officiating. There will be no public visitation.
The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky is in charge of arrangements.
