Diane Salsbury

Diane Salsbury, 59, of Boaz, Kentucky formerly of Metropolis, Illinois, passed away at 4:49 am on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Diane attended Highland Baptist Church and she loved her church and church family. She graduated from Massac County High School in 1978, and then pursued a career in nursing which lasted for 32 years most recently working at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation. She loved fishing, gardening, flowers, and camping. She will be forever remembered for putting her family and the people she loved first.

She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Tim Salsbury; daughter, Teresa Alexander and husband, Matthew, of Marshall County, Kentucky; two sons, Derek Ray Doss and wife, Megan of Denver, Colorado, Justin Shaffer Doss and wife, Becky of Boaz, Kentucky; three brothers, Greg Brindley and wife, Debbie of Metropolis, Illinois, Tim Brindley and wife, Tammy of Maryland; Jerry Waggener of Morganfield, KY; six grandchildren, Lucy Doss, Daniel Doss, Bailey Baez, William Craven, Hunter Day, Tori Day; four step grandchildren; and one great grandchild, Kingston Baez-Feliciano.

She was preceded in death by her, parents, W. Jay Waggener and Evelene Waggener and her brother, Mark Brindley.

Funeral services for Diane will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Richard Beck officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 22, 2019 and from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday, December 23, 2019 at the funeral home.
