Dale Harper

Dale M. Harper of Reidland died Thursday at his home.
Mr. Harper was a native of Marshall County and served as a lance corporal in the U.S. Marines during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy "Tommie" Bean Harper; one daughter, Janice Hyde of Reidland; four sisters, Eva Bean and Mary Buchanan, both of Paducah, Joyce Scobel of Atlanta, and Deen Orndoff of St. Louis; two brothers, George Harper of Mayfield and Herman Harper of Paducah; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. His parents were George W. and Addie Susan Goodwin Harper.
A private family graveside service will be held. There will be no visitation.
