Charles Breedlove

MAYFIELD - Charles Thomas Breedlove, 78, of Mayfield, died at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
He was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Paducah. He retired from Modine MFG and Tackett's Lamp Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, where he was a prisoner of war for 15 months.
Mr. Breedlove is survived by his son, Charles "Chuck" Breedlove of Mayfield; stepson, Michael Ray Vaughn of Possom Trot; one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye Breedlove; stepdaughter, Karen Faye Vaughn; three brothers and two sisters. His parents were Arlie Thomas and Bessie Prince Breedlove.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Rev. William Strong officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Mayfield Memory Gardens.
