Carolyn Harris

Paducah, KY

Carolyn June Harris, 86, of Paducah passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Mrs. Harris was a retired rural route mail carrier and member of Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, vacations with family, and was a UK Basketball Fan.

Surviving are her two daughters, Connie (Andy) Champion and Teresa Harris both of Paducah; four grandchildren, Richard (Becky) Champion, Jessica (Rich) Schertz, Kyle (Christina) Champion, and Daniel (Tina) Champion; six great-grandchildren, Ryan Champion and Emily Champion, Dylan and Jordan Schertz, Crew Champion, and Delaney Mullanix; one niece; and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Harris; her parents, Clarence Hester and Dorothy Hester; siblings, JoAnn Hester, Kenneth Hester, and Brenda Hester.

Graveside services will be at 12:00pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Chaplain Mary Berens officiating. Burial will follow.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center or the Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
