Bobby G. Reed, age 72, of Mayfield died Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
He was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church and Kentucky Colonels. He worked for Youngblood's Supermarket for 38 years, and later retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department.
Mr. Reed was a loving husband, and the best Daddy and Pawpaw. He adored his wife, daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren with all his heart.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years; Florida Rickman Reed: two daughters; Barbara (Robert) Clymer of Mayfield and Linda (Troy) Mohler of Mayfield: six grandchildren; Libbie Walker, of Wingo, Tanner Mohler, Lindsey Mohler, Carley Clymer, Carrigan Clymer and Bethany Clymer, all of Mayfield; and two great grandchildren; Brylie Howe and Bailey Thomas, both of Mayfield. He also leaves behind his beloved Rat Terrier, Sunny.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dolly G. and Elizabeth Miller Reed.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 16, 2014, at Mayfield Memory Gardens with Rev. Ronnie Stinson Sr. and Rev. Ronnie Stinson Jr. officiating.
Pallbearers will be Wallace Mohler, Richard Luce, Marvin Puryear, Richard Rickman, Bob Clymer, Nick Luce and Terry Mohler.
No visitation is scheduled. Byrn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
