Betty Boyd

Betty Jean Boyd, 70, of Paducah died at 11:57 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her two daughters, Vickie Tidwell of Symsonia and Hazel Patterson of Paducah; two sons, Kenneth Boyd and Thomas Boyd, both of Paducah; three sisters, Sue Collier of Benton, Connie Bledsoe of Paducah, and Sharon Evitts of Kuttawa; two brothers, John Thomas Heflin of Paducah and James Edward Heflin of Georgia; 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alan Boyd. Her parents were John Thomas Heflin Sr. and Mary Louise Taylor Heflin.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the funeral home.
