Annie T. Rodgers

Mrs. Annie T. Rodgers, age 89 and a resident of Mayfield, passed away at 12:54 A.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Spring Creek Nursing and Rehab. Facility in Murray. She was a member of Miller’s Chapel Baptist Church and a retired cook from Mayfield City Schools at the former Longfellow Elementary and Mayfield High School. She is survived by two sons; James Darrell Rodgers, Hickory, Dale Rodgers, Lawrenceburg, KY. a daughter, Cathy Rodgers (Steve) McCuan, Farmington, KY., a sister; Mary Lou Poindexter, Thomasville, N.C., five grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Dillard Rodgers, her parents; William Audrey and Ruby Nell Owen Dublin and five brothers and one sister. Private graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Mayfield Memory Gardens with Rev. Spence Pate officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be; Chris Rodgers, James Prather- Rodgers, Derek Devine, Jess Adams, Chad Fritsche, Connor Adams and Andrew Adams. There will be no visitation. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pinson Cemetery, c/o Shane Perry, 720 Willard Road, Wingo, Ky 42088.
